The story
Discovering my calling
I was invited to attend the Haggai Leadership Experience in Hawaii, a four-week intensive programme with approximately 60 women leaders from around the world. It brought me into a space devoted to Christian leadership, learning, and reflection on the responsibility of serving others.
During the first week, we were asked to write a personal vision statement. As I prayed, I experienced a profound conviction from the Holy Spirit: "I am God's gentle voice to the nations." Those words gave expression to a calling that would shape my leadership journey.
I came from a traditional church environment where women sometimes faced limitations in ministry and leadership. In Hawaii, I felt called to serve beyond those limitations and to faithfully use the voice God had given me. The experience helped me see leadership as a responsibility to encourage and equip others.
My vision was never to become a loud voice seeking recognition. It was to be a gentle voice communicating God's truth, hope, and encouragement across cultures and nations. That vision continues to guide how I teach, lead, and invest in the lives of others.
